A bespoke service is available by appointment, with prices starting from £80. This service is ideal if you are attending a special occasion and require a headpiece tailored to your outfit. Please allow four-six weeks for your order.

HISTORICAL
We love period fashions and will help you complete your vintage or antique outfit with a fitting hat. We've helped re-enactors, vintage brides and steampunk enthusiasts with their look. See our Historical page for examples.
TRADE
We love working with independant boutiques, creating the perfect headwear for your stock. If you like limited couture or vintage designs, and are looking for hand-made, British headwear, we'd love to hear from you.

"MILLINERY IN MINIATURE"
Claire shares her collection of period small hats with you, exploring the history of millinery fashions and changing techniques along the way, from the 1850s - with lots of examples to look at aswell as trims, pictures and
reproduction pieces that Claire is working on.
Perfect for ladies groups and alternative hen parties, with members of the group modelling the hats as we go!
The talk lasts approx. 1hr and is charged at £60 (additional travel fee for areas outside 25miles from HG3 5LE)
Claire also offers a demonstration of hat-blocking, with lots of hats and materials to look at and handle. Charged at £40 for 30mins-1 hour.
All talks and demos can be tailored to your group, there is a space available to hire at the King Street Workshops if your group wishes to meet there.
